Cottonid, hydrate cellulose is the treatment of cellulose fibers, e.g. in case of Cottonid provided in the form of linter paper, with an externally applied chemical reagent. The materials can be mainly differentiated by the type and condition of the reagent, i.e. by the state of cellulose modification.

Summary and Outlook,er (NFRB) for implementation in technical applications, especially as construction material in the building and automotive industries. In the following, the findings out of the experimental results are summed up and an outlook on future invstigations is given.
