This knowledge was the basis of thebreakthrough for diagnostic techniques like the Swan-Ganz catheter, coronary arteriography, left and right heart biopsies, and invasivemeasurements of contractility, as well as therapeutic tools includingaortocoronary bypass surgery, percutanous transluminal coronaryangioplasty, and a broad field of pharmacological interventions forthe whole spectrum of cardiovascular diseases, especially chronicheart failure. .It was during the last decade that the scientific world focused on theevolution of molecular biology of the cardiovascular system so thatcardiovascular physiology seemed to become less important. Regardingthe myocardium, molecular alterations of important functional proteins(phenotype changes), as well as signal transduction pathways ofcontractility and cardiac growth have been elucidated. The functionalimportance of a number of genes has undoubtedly been proven with thehelp of transgenic animals. ..Mechanics and Energetics of the Myo | 出版日期 | Book 2002 | 關(guān)鍵詞 | Bypass; biology; biopsie; cardiovascular; cardiovascular system; heart; physiology; surgery; vascular diseas | 版次 | 1 | doi | https://doi.org/10.1007/978-1-4615-0879-3 | isbn_softcover | 978-1-4613-5284-6 | isbn_ebook | 978-1-4615-0879-3Series ISSN 1566-0753 | issn_series | 1566-0753 | copyright | Springer Science+Business Media New York 2002 |
