Ornaments and Tessellations: Encouraging Creativity in the Mathematics Classroombe very creative in planning their lesson and at the same time encourage their pupils’ creativity. Thus cultural heterogeneity may be perceived as advantage as it may result in breaking down stereotypes in mathematics classrooms.

Instances of Promoting Creativity with Procedural Tasksrning competencies and high levels of mathematical creativity in the participating students’ work. Thus, we conclude that certain procedural tasks have a strong potential to promote higher-order, and creative thinking.
