An Information Integration Investigation of Cognitive Structure Models,e cognitive, affective, and behavioral structures exist. When compared to the independent structures, those interactive structures suggest alternative communication strategies for managers and public policy formulators.

A Theory of Acquisition Motivation and a Pilot Investigation, resultant intrinsic tendency to acquire an object. A pilot investigation which yields empirical support for the theory is reported. Finally, the implications of the theory for marketing strategy are discussed.

Opinion Leaders: Are They Really Important as Innovation Buyers?,e widely diffused. The study related opinion leadership scores to scores of ownership of innovative, and noninnovative, and nonwar-ranted products. The results showed that opinion leadership scores were twice as likely to be related to scores of ownership of noninnovative products as they were to be related to ownership of innovative products.

Empathy: Is it the Missing Independent Dispositional Variable in the Study of Innovative Behavior?,tive. Social acuity scores produced higher percentages of significant relationships to innovative product ownership scores and to both innovative and noninnovative product perception scores than did opinion leadership scores.
