Hardware Components,lectrical control system. The control system uses signals from the position sensors to determine what commands (signals) to send to the amplifiers. The amplifiers, in turn, drive current through the electromagnet coils to produce forces which act on the suspended rotor. This relationship between components is described in detail in Chap. 2.
