Relationships Between Cainozoic Magmatism and Upper Mantle Heterogeneities as Exemplified by the Hogocated on the top of lithospheric domes which extend over extensive areas (some 1000 km wide) and exhibit a long wavelength (? 400 km for the Hoggar) negative Bouguer anomaly (up to -120mgal) similar in intensity to that of the East-African uplift (Bermingham et al. 1983).
