Design and Development of Customized Helmet for Military Personnel,ria. It is found that the deflection of the helmet when a 9 × 19 parabellum bullet strikes it from the side ranges from 0 to 51.68 mm, and the deflection when the bullet strikes from top ranges from 0 to 32.23?mm, which means that the strength of the helmet at the sides is greater than the top portion.
