Experimental Investigations on Luminescence at High Concentrations of Carriers and ExcitonsThe radiative recombination properties of some crystals (CuCl, CdS) excited by a powerful ultraviolet light source have been studied at low temperatures. New effects due to high concentrations of carriers and (or) excitons have been observed.

Exciton Luminescence and Photoconductivity in Highly Excited GaPxciton annihilation. Additionally, problems relating to the behavior of exciton luminescence and photoconductivity under intense excitation corresponding to the band-to-band transition in undoped or Te-doped GaP are examined.

Anti-Stokes Exciton Emission in CdS Crystalsders of magnitude and the temperature between 2 and 300 K. The effect of an additional steady state excitation in the red and near infrared region is studied as well as the decay characteristics of the luminescence. A structured specimen is observed consisting mainly of one phonon replicas of free and bound exciton lines.

Spontaneous and Stimulated Emission from Excitons at High Concentrationn unless the emission and absorption are displaced from each other. Biexcitons can emit stimulated radiation. The competition and the stimulated emission are discussed for the exciton-exciton and the exciton-LO phonon effects.
