Study Areaty were needed to produce artificial rain. Since groundwater is much more constant in composition than surface water, areas with easy access to groundwater are also desirable. Soil Biology: Soil Microflora and Soil Acidityof available nutrients for the growth of trees. In such soils most of the fine roots of forest trees will be in an intimate symbiotic association with the mycelia of different fungi, thus greatly increasing the absorbing surface area of the tree roots.
