Aperiodic Structure in the Magnetoresistance of Very Narrow Metallic Rings and Linesilar structure was seen in several Au and Au.Pd. rings and lines. Although there is some evidence for flux quantization effects in one device, the structure was sample specific, and it is apparently the result of the extremely small device size.
