Mineral nutrient demands of the water hyacinth (, (Mart.) Solms) in the White Nilehouse experiments were carried out to determine the effects of deficiency and mineral nutrient additions on the growth of this plant. The water hyacinth was found to grow at a wide range of nutrient levels. Maximum growth was recorded at 21 mg 1. H, 62 mg P, and 0.60 mg 1. Fe.
