It providesan excellent overview on the state of meteor shower research for anyprofessional researcher or amateur meteor observer interested instudies of meteors and meteoroids and their relation to comets, theorigin of life on Earth, the satellite impact hazard issue, and upperatmosphere studies of neutral atom chemistry, the formation ofmeteoric debris, persistent trains, airglow, noctilucent clouds,sprites and elves.
