H. K. Corningating an equivalent black-body temperature in the range 0.7 to 1.0 mm which is close to 8.3 K. These estimates have been confirmed in a balloon-borne broad-band radiometric observation by Mühlner and Weiss [9], giving an estimated temperature of 7 K in a passband between 0.8 mm and 1 mm.
