Flat Modules and Homological Dimensions,This chapter is a natural continuation of Chapter 1 and consists of two long sections. In §4, we study in detail the notion of flat (and faithfully flat) modules, and in §5, we develop the theory of homological dimensions of modules and rings.

Rings of Quotients,After developing enough module theory in the three previous chapters, the stage is now set for the study of the theory of rings of quotients. The present chapter is a general introduction to this theory, in the setting of noncommutative rings.
