Experiments on Self-Focusing in Laser-Produced Plasmaslasma filaments of ?10μ diameter which have been detected by means of high spatial resolution, sub-nanosecond, Schlieren photography and interferometry. In this talk the large amount of experimental evidence for self-focusing is reviewed and a number of possible mechanisms discussed.

Electron-Photon Interactiona thin crystal modulated by laser light which shines through it. The light is then reproduced when the electron beam strikes a nonluminescent target. Further experimental and theoretical results, especially on the monochromaticity requirements for the electron beam, and the quantum mechanical nature of the effect, are reported.

Interpretation of Cylindrical Langmuir Probe Signals from Streaming Laser-Produced Plasmas expressions for current collected in the flowing plasma case. Theoretical electron current characteristics are calculated and fitted to the experimental curves. Comparison is made with other works using particle collection techniques to diagnose laser-produced plasmas.
