Parallel Algorithms for Some Optimization Problems Arising in Air Pollution Modeling,lve these MILP problems in a MIMD distributed memory environment. The algorithms are scalable and run on a cluster of workstations under PVM. The efficiency of the algorithms has been investigated and the test results on some placement tasks and from MIPLIB library are presented.

Deterioration on Historic Buildings Due to Air Pollution and Some Difficulties During Their Restoraeir restoration works and explanation of some faulty restorations are the main subject of this paper..Air pollution, consisting of chemical and mechanical compositions, causes deterioration especially on stone materials which are mostly used on the facade of historic buildings. Effects caused by compounds of S, C, N will be reported.
