The Lavaux World Heritage Terraced Vineyardes. From a geomorphological point of view, the Lavaux cultural landscape is a structural landscape modelled by glacier erosion. Because the natural processes have been significantly modified by man, Lavaux can be considered as a cultural geomorphosite, i.e. a place where geomorphological processes and human activities form a symbiosis.
