Methods and Instrumentation,line NRK (Normal Rat Kidney, strain 52E) were used. Both cell lines were obtained from the Leibniz Institute DSMZ—German Collection of Microorganisms and Cell Cultures (Braunschweig, Germany). They grow on cell culture substrates as monolayers of cobblestone-like morphology.
