Transformation-Based Network Calculus Applying Convex/Concave Conjugatesual domain for network calculus is given by convex/concave conjugates referred to also as Legendre transform. We provide solutions for dual operations and show that min-plus convolution and de-convolution become simple addition and subtraction in Legendre space.

Measuring Large Overlay Networks — The Overnet Exampleidely deployed DHT-based overlay. We describe both, the design choices that made that measurement feasible and the results from the measurement itself. Besides the basic determination of network size, node availability and node distribution, we found unexpected results for the overlay latency distribution.
