A Simulation of a Jet with the Hiccups,We present results of a numerical simulation of a stellar jet from a source with supersonic variations in the outflow velocity. The simulation is compared with both analytical predictions and observations.

Herbig Ae/Be Stars,s manifested through optical outflows. It is shown that although there are similarities with analogous outflows from lower mass young stars, those from Herbig Ae/Be stars may be more poorly collimated. Jets, however, are found in at least some cases.

3-D radiative line transfer for Be star envelopes,ines with blue-shifted central depressions are in contradiction with the observed line shapes. It is concluded that isotropic stationary outflows are not suitable to explain observed asymmetric emission line profiles of Be stars.

Shaping Planetary Nebulae,n equatorial waistband. The physics of the ensuing evolution seems to be explained nicely by a combination of hydrodynamics coupled with time-dependent stellar ionization and energy loss through nebular radiation. Recent radiation gas dynamic calculations are shown to yield excellent agreement with data.

Investigating the Kinematics of the Faint, Giant Haloes of Planetary Nebulae, thin, radially expanding, spherical shell and that of NGC 6826 is more probably a filled spherical shell. The halo of NGC 6720 contains inner and outer shells, the split profiles from the inner halo show that this part of the halo is bipolar in nature.

Spectroscopic constraints on outflows from BN-type objects,other a more slowly moving optically-thin volume of gas that may, in the case of S106IR at least, be caused by mass loading of the stellar wind. This decomposition is shown to resolve a long-standing problem regarding the relative widths of high and low opacity lines.
