,Popper’s Life in England (1960–1970),new areas. He was by now an established figure whose work attracted controversy and assent in equal measure. He fell out with several of his colleagues, and faced challenges to his methodology from the Frankfurt School of Sociology as well as the so-called Post-Rationalists (M. Polanyi, Th .S. Kuhn). And he travelled the world.

But there are two other important aspects, which emerge from his work: his emphasis on situational analysis—the logic of the problem situation—and his insistence on the applicability of his philosophy to areas outside of philosophy.
