,Iron-Catalyzed Oxidative C–H Alkenylation of Thiophenes with Enamines,Transition-metal-catalyzed oxidative C–H alkenylation has attracted much attention as one of the most straightforward methods to synthesize alkenylated compounds. In 1967, Fujiwara and Moritani reported that styrene/PdCl. complex reacts with a solvent amount of benzene to afford .-stilbene in low yield.
