Tomographic Image Reconstruction from a Limited Set of Projections Using a Natural Pixel DecompositiIn this paper we present a practical implementation of a method proposed by Buoconore [1], for two-dimensional tomographic image reconstruction from a limited set of real projections. The convergence of the iterative reconstruction method is proved and tested on real reconstructions.

Tikhonov Regularization of Nonlinear Differential-Algebraic EquationsUsing recent results about Tikhonov regularization of nonlinear ill-posed problems, we show that nonlinear index-2 differential-algebraic equations can be solved in a stable way via Tikhonov regularization in various ways. Convergence rates for the regularized solutions are derived.

Recent Developments in Electrical Impedance Tomographysurement errors and iterative reconstruction algorithms are very computationally demanding. In this paper we describe some of our work to overcome these difficulties by investigating the effect on reconstructions of geometric errors and of our attempts to speed up the reconstruction algorithms using parallel processing techniques.
