Interpretation of the ASSG Plots,The first objective of this chapter is to categorize the different types of possible relationships for an ASSG. This will be a first attempt towards answering the research question “How can different types of SSG plots be categorized?”. In order to do this, Section?7.1 describes the different types of relationships.

Comparison between Advanced State Space Grids and a Standard Research Method,The aim of this chapter is to answer the third and fourth research questions. These are: “Are there differences in results between the ASSG method and a standard method for indicator based analysis?”?and “What are advantages and disadvantages of the ASSG method in comparison to a standard method?”.

Conclusion and Outlook,In this thesis it was shown how the State Space Grid method can be enhanced to the Advanced State Space Grid method by defining new parameters such as the expected value of an ASSG plot.

State Space Grids,n. However, a method for the analysis of dynamic processes is not included. The first approach to such a method is given by Hollenstein with State Space Grids, which is examined in more detail in this chapter.
