Efficient Implementation of the DDs in the Quantum RealmDD-package for the quantum realm that achieves improvements of several orders of magnitude compared to previous implementations. This does not only affect the proposed simulation approach, but can potentially improve other DD-based design methods (e.g., for synthesis or verification) as well, just by exchanging the underlying DD-package.

One-Pass Design Flowa single additional qubit is always sufficient when assuming a Huffman-like encoding and that no decoding is required afterwards (i.e., if subsequent components can handle encoded inputs). In cases where an additional decoder is required, this technique is still beneficial since the coded function is realized more efficiently in many cases.
