General Principles of Endoscopic Gastric Biopsy and Specimen Handling,Endoscopic biopsy of the gastrointestinal tract constitutes more than 30% of biopsy samples in any centre across the country. Handling of Endoscopic Resected Specimen: Indication for ESD and Grossing of ESD Specimen,Treatment for early gastric cancer is carried out with maximum tissue preservation so that the patient may lead a normal life after the definite treatment. Endoscopic mucosal resection is one such step. Handling of such resected specimen at grossing is of utmost importance for proper and complete reporting.

Morphological Aspect of Gastric Carcinomas,Histological classification based on the different histomorphology has remained the basis for prognosticating and further molecular classification of tumours.
