An Accurate Mathematical Modeling of a DFIG Based Tidal Farm, model has been tested and compared with real time HOMER software model. Also a permanent magnet synchronous generator based tidal power plant has been used for comparison purpose. The study shows impressive result where the proposed model is accurate and suitable for practical application of designing a tidal power plant.
