Analysis of Temporal Variability of Droughts in Southern Paraguay and Northern Argentina (1961–2011) results achieved, despite proving the suitability of the approaches applied, did not reveal any trend towards an increase or a decrease either in the frequency of the droughts or in their severity in the studied area.
