Introduction,In this chapter, we present a general review of some key features of 5G cellular networks and their challenges in interference management. In addition, several interference coordination techniques are discussed. Then, the motivations and contributions of this brief are given.

Conclusions,The fifth generation (5G) cellular wireless network is seen as a promising next generation cellular technology. It is expected to be a mixture of networks of various tiers, various backhaul connections, and different radio access technologies that are accessed by a great number of wireless devices.

Interference Coordination in Device-to-Device Communication,dvantage of multiuser diversity. Performance analysis shows that based on the proposed schemes, the interference generated on the cellular links is eliminated or well controlled, while the quality of service of the D2D LAN can also be guaranteed.
