Transient receptor potential channels and mechanobiologyPV1, TRPV2, TRPP1/TRPP2, TRPM4, TRPM7, and TRPA1 channels mediate mechanosensation. Effect of Young’s modulus in metallic implants on atrophy and bone remodelingng treatment highly improves the strength of porous titanium and poly(methyl methacrylate) composite by keeping its Young’s modulus just equal to that of the cortical bone.
