Modeling Sensation for an Intelligent Virtual Agent’s Perception Processeling visual sensation and propose mechanisms for virtual sensors and memory. Different visual sensing approaches are compared by applying them to an artificial evaluation scenario. The evaluations show promising results with respect to performance and quality.

Adapting Virtual Patient Interviews for Interviewing Skills Training of Novice Healthcare Studentsility of using a selection-based virtual patient as a modeling tool for learning interviewing skills. Our initial results support the possibility of such question modeling and reveal that healthcare students already view selection-based virtual patient interactions as modeling opportunities.
