In this chapter, we present some analytical methods and numerical results that explore these questions. The effects are inherently nonlinear and therefore much harder to study completely.

Computational Aspectsher cases, an explicit quadrature rule can be used. Eigenvalue problems for IDEs can be approximated by matrix eigenvalue problems and solved with existing routines. Explicit analytical results help calibrate numerical schemes.
