Stress-Strain State of a Double Lap Joint of Circular Form. Axisymmetric Modelat tangential stresses achieve a maximum at a distance of about the thickness of the adhesive layer from the joint edge. Normal stresses are of the same order as that of the tangential ones. The results obtained were compared with those of finite-element modelling. The comparison demonstrated high accuracy of the suggested model.
