Design of Slotted Microstrip Patch Antenna for 5G Communications,with some practical limits. The tool used for the design and simulation is CST STUDIO SUITE 2018. RT duroid 5880 was used as dielectric substrate. Low cost, low profile, and ease of fabrication are the major highlights for using patch antenna for the design.

The circular slot has been optimized to get the resonant frequency at 60?GHz so that the designed structure can be operable for 60?GHz based WLAN application. A metal strip of 8?mm acts like an antenna gain booster, which has been implemented around the patch on the substrate. HFSS software is the software by which the simulation has been done.
