Flow in Knowledge Work: An Initial Evaluation of Flow Psychophysiology Across Three Cognitive Tasksusly chosen task difficulty elicited contrasts in flow and mental effort, which was also reflected in the EEG data by Theta band power modulations. This further highlights the utility of autonomy for stimulating flow. We discuss limitations and improvements for the experiment and how this contributes to further research on flow-adaptive IT.

How Does the Content of Crowdfunding Campaign Pictures Impact Donations for Cancer Treatment, immediate attention and arousal than non-cancer-related pictures. Furthermore, group pictures receive more money and more total attention than individual pictures. The physiological measures from the experiment provide valuable knowledge about the underlying emotional mechanisms involved in the donation process.

Increased Audiovisual Immersion Associated with Mirror Neuron System Enhancement Following High Fidin activity and self-perceived immersion during the viewing of cinematic AV stimuli. Our results revealed that HFVK increased immersiveness potentially via enhanced top-down processing within sensorimotor areas in the mirror neuron system.

The Effect of SVO Category on Theta/Alpha Ratio Distribution in Resource Allocation Tasks,im, we have utilized a specific electrophysiological index, the Theta/Alpha ratio, which is known to be correlated with the cognitive load. Our result demonstrates that there are indeed differences in the Theta/Alpha ratio of players with different SVO values.
