Kernel Methods for Riemannian Analysis of Robust Descriptors of the Cerebral Cortex implicit lifting map to a reproducing kernel Hilbert space, and (ii)?regression against clinical variables, using .. For both methods, we employ kernels that exploit the Riemannian structure. Results on simulated and clinical data shows the improved accuracy and stability of our approach in cortical-sheet analysis.

Stochastic Development Regression on Non-linear Manifoldsection of the manifold. We propose an estimation procedure which applies the Laplace approximation of the likelihood function. A simulation study of the performance of the model is performed and the model is applied to a real dataset of Corpus Callosum shapes.
