Fe-Mn-Al-C Alloys: a Study of Their Corrosion Behaviour in SO2 Environmentsal product of this type of corrosion processes. The sulphate anions, abundant inside the electrolyte during the wet periods, could be incorporated to the ferrihydrite structure being responsible for the M?ssbauer spectral pattern recorded from the corrosion products at low temperatures.

Characterization of Supported Gold Catalysts with 197Au M?ssbauer Effect Spectroscopyange in the relative weight of the spectral contribution of the surface atoms. The presence of ionic gold in active gold catalysts is not observed. The spectra can be interpreted in terms of bulk-like contributions from the inner-core atoms plus contributions from the outermost atoms at the surface of the particles.
