The effect of nitrogen doses on nitrogen uptake and translocation in spring barley genotypesnslocation efficiency (66.9 %) were obtained from Tokak 157/37. N doses had a significant influence on the characters investigated. Grain yield, straw yield, concentrations of grain N, straw N, and grain protein, grain N yield, straw N yield and total N uptake all increased with increasing doses of N whereas N translocation efficiency decreased.
