描述Hydropower is found to be one of the most reliable and inexpensive options for renewable energy which was now widely been adopted by many countries to substitute fossil fuel sources. This Brief highlights the impact of climate change on hydropower plants, especially on the turbine design, as turbines are responsible for optimal conversion and regular energy production. The vulnerability of turbines is analyzed with the help of Artificial Neural Networks, followed by Multi Criteria Decision Making methods for development of intelligent indices to represent the level of vulnerability of turbines due to the change in climate.

Conclusion,The study was concluded with the observations that the method dependency of the model may be reduced to produce uniform results. As a future research scope the same model can be applied to design a early warning or real time monitoring system which can greatly reduce the system uncertainty.

Introduction,er plants are directly effected by the quality and quantity of water in which the runner is either submerged or rotates in of the water. That is why climate change also impacts the performance of hydro-turbines. The present study is an attempt to quantify the relationship between the climatic impact and turbine performance.

Climate Change and Its Impacts,es include but not limited to burning of fossil fuels and conversion of forest or agricultural lands. As a result of the change in regular pattern of climate both water and energy sector has been severely effected. The effect is dominant on the urban as well as rural environment.
