,Augmentation Based on?Artificial Occlusions for?Resilient Instance Segmentation,otated data. Additionally, we provide two new datasets for instance segmentation including the semantic class firearm, for security applications. By applying the proposed augmentation technique on three datasets, the performance of instance segmentation methods is improved as indicated by the experimental results.

,Obstacle Avoidance and?Interaction in?Extended Reality: An Approach Based on?3D Object Detection,ent rendering. Our system can detect specific classes of objects, estimate their position and extent, and create a virtual counterpart for each one in an immersive virtual scene. We describe the pipeline of the system and show that our system allows real-time interaction with virtual objects blended with real ones.

,Early Detection of?Hip Periprosthetic Joint Infections Through CNN on?Computed Tomography Images, detection of the hip prosthesis infections analyzing Computed Tomography images. The proposed solution is based on a novel ResNeSt Convolutional Neural Network architecture trained on samples from more than 100 patients. The solution showed exceptional performance in detecting infections with an experimental high level of accuracy and F-score.

,Buffer-MIL: Robust Multi-instance Learning with?a?Buffer-Based Approach,odel. An attention mechanism is then used to compare all the instances against the buffer, to find the most critical ones in a given slide. We evaluate Buffer-MIL on two publicly available WSI datasets, Camelyon16 and TCGA lung cancer, outperforming current state-of-the-art models by 2.2% of accuracy on Camelyon16.
