White Paper on Joint Replacement possess a neuroprotective effect (NPE) that correlates with hypothermia. The thermoneutral condition and local warming of the head decrease or even prevent hypothermia and NPE. However, we have revealed data showing that hypothermia is not a single mechanism of this NPE, so a tolerant strategy as a whole should provide protection from CGCI.
