Identification of?Anomalies in?Urban Sound Data with?Autoencodersquency versus time on a decibel scale. Traditional autoencoders and variational autoencoder models are deployed to detect anomalies in the mel-spectrogram images. The obtained results demonstrate that the variational autoencoder model finds anomalies accurately in the acoustic records.

Probability Density Function for?Clustering Validation provides a sequence of the traces when the dimensionality varies. Its limit is a gamma. This result allows a non-excluding discussion when interpreting probabilities as credibility levels, and we open the door to inference for clustering validation.

Application of?Anomaly Detection Models to?Malware Detection in?the?Presence of?Concept Driftn models only need benign instances for training, and therefore may be less affected by the scarcity of labelled malicious instances. The results show that anomaly detection models achieve better results than supervised online models in conditions of heavy data imbalance and label scarcity.
