描述.This book presents a novel viewpoint in HR management: in addition to the macroeconomic factors (demographic development, industry 4.0, digitization, etc.)?and its micro-political counterparts (shortage of skilled workers, an aging workforce, shortage of MINTs), personnel policy in the highly developed economic regions of the world can increasingly be seen from the third point of view, which is the ego-perspective. It is therefore not surprising that the HR department has come under heavy criticism—so much so that even its dissolution is being called for.

Rethinking Human Resources Managemente much more complex, it is high time that line managers took the lead again. Ultimately, effective HR management requires close cooperation between HR professionals and line managers. This is particularly true at the operational level, where constructive cooperation is required in all phases of HR management.

The Recruitment Processsting ones. The shoulder-to-shoulder approach between the HR expert and the managers within the organisation, or rather their close cooperation, is indispensable for both internal and external HR marketing, for the selection of the most suitable candidates, and for the hiring and integration of the new employees.
