Advances in Diagnostic Methods for Invasive , and , Infectionsptococcosis, sensitive and specific antigen detection tests are routinely used to diagnose this infection. In contrast, the diagnosis of invasive candidiasis and aspergillosis remains problematic. Consequently, substantial efforts have been undertaken to investigate novel methods for the diagnosis of these opportunistic mycoses.
