Image of Belgium in WWI Through Mapsn their production or diffusion in Belgium at the time. Nonetheless, they constituted important sources of information, together with newspapers and magazines. This contribution discusses some examples of these maps against the background of what is known about the Germans’ censorship policy in occupied Belgium.
