It also describes means and aims of several fundamental steps to improve energy efficiency in historical buildings with an experimentation on a case study. Thermal Behaviour of Historical Buildings, Materials and Components: Methodological Framework, Calcurical parameters, the analysis of some wall typologies, common in historical building construction, is carried out. This represents a starting point for the evaluation of the most suitable envelope insulation interventions. The incidence in terms of energy performance is tested considering a case study.
