Synchrotron High-Pressure High-Temperature Techniques,sure and high (or low) temperature. This beamline exhibits outstanding performance in terms of photon flux and focusing capabilities at high x-ray energies. The main components of this instrument are described in some details. In particular, the choices in terms of x-ray source, x-ray optics, detectors and sample environment are discussed.
