Structure due to electron correlation effects in the energy dependence of high-energy ion-atom elecElectron correlation effects in electron capture in high-energy ion-atom collisions are discussed. It is found that these correlation effects lead to structure in the normally monotonically decreasing energy dependence of the electron-capture cross sections.
