Frame Delay Analysis of the DQDB Protocolth batch arrivals, and utilizing results from previous analysis for segment delay, closed- form expressions for the average frame delay at individual stations are obtained. The results are then compared with simulations, and it is shown that, for ligth to moderate bus loads, the accuracy of the approximation is kept within acceptable levels.
