GLA and LMD Approaches to the Processing of AIRS and IASI Observationstric Sounder) and IASI (Improved Atmospheric Sounder in the Infrared) like data. Both methodologies involve use of a physical inversion scheme but differ among other things, by the initialization process and the use of a priori information.
